Installation (in order of recommended ways to play)
It is highly recommended to play this game on itch.io. It runs at 60fps in Chrome on a 2012 Macbook Pro. You shouldn't have any performance issues. Unless you're using Firefox possibly, without the V8 JS engine.
Just download and run the AppImage. Our linux machine is running an out of date Ubuntu LTS due to hardware age. Thus, this image has not been tested, as we have to build love12 from source with a modified GCC-lib version. However, it's just a .love archive appended to the offical AppImage, so it should work without issues, unless your hardware is also old.
Just download and run the Executable. We tested it and it works fine on multiple windows machines of varying ages.
In order to run a .love archive, you need to have love installed locally on your hardware of choice. This game was made with love 12.0, which has not been offically released yet. You can get an executable for your specific hardware from the LOVE 2d Github You must be signed in to Github to access this link.
While it does run on mobile web browsers, I did not have the time to fully debug the shaders used for mobile specifications. If you're okay with some rendering artifacts, it ran at 60fps on my Moto G Power (2020), a very low-end phone, no problems.
